I am currently doing my student teaching and will graduate in December with a major in Mathematics and a minor in secondary education. I have passed my certification exams and have 1 year of experience as a substitute teacher as well as 2 years experience as an AVID tutor. I also worked as a nanny for 1 year and have done some private tutoring. How long do you think it would take for me to be hired as a secondary math teacher at a DODEA school in Europe?

Liv_hopeful Like Haha said, I would start the application and have your references fill out the form. I was also told that successful teaching experience is a major factor for one to contact you for an interview, then the area of expertise.

For example, I'm certified to teach math. My 1st certificate only covers up to grade 9. I got my second one up ...See More
