I am planing to resign in June 2025 from an overseas position (I am due for RAT). I am planning to beging applying to DoDEA overseas again in 2026. I have many hard to fill certs and I'm interested in hardship locations.

If I take the ENI and let them know now will I be able to be rehired in the future? Many people have told me signing an eni is blacklisting myself from DoDEA ever again. But an email from HR said I would be eligible for rehire.

So, I would love to hear if someone knows someone who has done this. As I fear the one HR person was misinformed compared to all the others who said it's not possible.
haha I have heard of/read about people who have taken the incentive and then ended up coming back to DoDEA. I have no idea what the current policy is and how it would affect your situation. Dr. Ali Fant Somewhere in the DoDEA OPM Bible (Office of Personnel Management), I read that any incentive pay had to be paid back to the government if you re-hired within a certain time frame.
