I think I wrote this section wrong because I split it into parts - a discussion on each - strengths, interests, needs, preferences, but maybe this is where I'm to discuss the lessons related to the work samples. Confused and panicking.
I have a PDF of student responses and it's a mixed orientation PDF, but when I try to upload it it changes all orientations to Portrait which causes some of my pages to be sideways. Is that going to be an issue????
I have 3 different contextual sheets that I have to submit for component 2, but I can not upload more then one file. I am assuming that these would have to go into one document file together? Correct, incorrect, guidance please?
I am uploading files for MC/Gen Component 2. My student work samples are just that, samples of student work without any descriptions, only labeled by artifact number.
Do you recommend adding descriptions to each artifact or saving the text for the commentary section?
Thank you, Ms. Panicked

I am an NBCT candidate for ECYA/ENS and don't have those types of work samples to submit. But in general all commentary should be in the written commentary section I am pretty sure.

When scanning the student responses, do I need to write on the actual response the student name, student A, and prompt #1? Can I just put a text box with the information on each image I scan inside word?
For C2 & 3, I'm wondering if explaining 1st time acronyms in the context form is enough, or if I need to do it again in the written commentary. Thanks much!

I had this same question but ended up spelling them out 1st time in each individual document... no idea what the answer is
I think you're saying that a colleague in your grade level is a candidate and used the same assessments as you because your whole grade level uses them? Write one sentence somewhere that states that...they use your own results and you'll be ok.

Also, is it recommended to add descriptors to each artifact or simply speak to the artifacts in the commentary?
Thank you,

Do you recommend including descriptions of artifacts or leaving text to the commentary alone? I have images of the artifacts along with artifact numbers, but I didn't add descriptions.
Thank you, Lauren R.

Can I reduce the size of student work and assessments? Basically can I reduce two 8.5x11'' sized pages of an assessment and put them sideways on one of the 8.5x11'' pages in my Assessment Document? I thin it's totally legible.

They won't be scored separately, but will contribute to your body of work. The rationale part will be particularly important because they show analysis. See if you can include some details that there might not have been a prompt for within the Written Commentary...something you wanted to say, but couldn't find a place to say it. #2 & 3 might give you a platform for explaining what came before/after the clip the assessors will watch. However, with only 1 page allowed, it must be short and sweet. 1. Give a brief summary of ALL of Component 3. You can lift SOME (not a lot) language from pages 1 and 3 of your instructions (Teaching Practice and Learning Environment AND What Do I Need To Do? sections). Some sentence stems you might use include: Component 3 is about ___. I show how I __and how students _. The lessons encompass ___. These were important because ___. 2 & 3: The focus of Video 1 is how I facilitate small/large group instruction. This lesson was about ___ and I chose this format because ___. I hope this helps a little!

Sounds legit :)

I am uploading files for MC/Gen Component 2. My student

Do you recommend adding descriptions to each artifact or
