Lest it all sound negative- I have made some progress with giving social consequences- such as of not responding unless treated with respect and treating them with respect whenever I naturally talk to them- such as saying Good Morning even if they don't say it. I also now have two aides who operate similarly and are very active and take initiative to model good behavior. Class meetings also help where behaviors are discussed and alternate ways to meet the same goal are modeled or role-played.
