Harassment by an ex student

Hi everyone, I am just looking for advice from anyone who might have been in a similar situation or who is older and wiser than me! I am a high school teacher who is having a problem with a recently ex student. The student has spent the entire year spreading rumors about me and generally making my life at school hell. She made a complaint about me having a 'relationship' with another student and I had to go through meetings with senior management about this. There are no truth to these rumors and the school knows these are not true.The allegations only came about after she had been cut from the school play due to lack of attendance. She has continued to create problems and fuel rumors for the rest of the year. She has sent me messages that contain swear words and are abusive.
