I was recently visited by our state licensing consultant for my annual licensing visit. The first thing she said after she walked in(she was my initial consultant last year) after saying hi, was "You should start a new business in helping set up home providers' environments". I sort of took it not too serious, but is there really such a thing? I attend all these required workshops during the year, and it does amaze me to hear some of the comments regarding the programs some women are running. I don't know if there really is a market for such a service. What are your thoughts? (I have almost 30 years of experience in the biz, but not as a home provider - running large programs)Thanks! montmo

My credentials are still being hashed about by the various state agencies as "being recognized" for licensing although it is through a major in state university. Their paperwork doesn't match the state's paperwork so I am stuck in limbo as they try t...See More
