Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

Although the center where I work bills parents for the days the center is closed for the holidays (Mondays Dec. 26 and Jan. 2), staff members do not get paid for those days, unless they work at least 35 hours a week. I am not sure how many hours per week everyone works, but since the parents are paying for those days, what plausible reason could there be for not paying EVERYONE, based on their average hours per day during that pay period?
