I was copying font files to a CD to move to a new laptop. I didn't realize I highlighted some system fonts. Now I keep getting the Files Ready to be written to CD message continuously. The two files are micross.ttf and vgasys.fon and they cannot be deleted. I tried renaming and then deleting, but that doesn't work either. Any ideas? I've tried everything I can think of but Windows XP Pro won't let me delete these files in the Ready to be written... file.
Blair Never mind, found a solution. You might be interested in the solution. Searched Google for a File Unlocker and found this GEM. [link removed].
