We're about to purchase a set-up to finally have live video broadcasting of our "morning news" in my K-5 school. We'll be using a V-brick to transfer to stream to our intranet. I need advice on purchasing the lowest cost video camera/camcorder (concerns - how good is the microphone? we'd like to use the mic on the camera rather than have a separate one) and tripod (concerns - ease of use, portability). Does anyone have specific favorites? Thanks for your help.
sagol If you will use 2 or more cameras you will need a switcher. As per camera itself you'd better go with Prosumer model, smth like Sony HVR-A1U for approx $2200. This one has a professional XLR audio inputs. You'd better use a lavalier mic. A good one and low coast is Samson QL5 for about $50. If you don't have a budget fro a prosumer camera use Canon...See More
