We're doing a spring tea. One of the teachers gave me a cd with her kids singing on it to use during an activity. There are some distracting, loud sounds for about the first 40 seconds.I have saved the song to my computer, would like to edit it, and save it to another cd. My son had downloaded some cutter-joiner software with the categories begin, end, okay, split, join, stop but I don't know exactly what to do with it (and he's away until June).Got any ideas? Advance thank you, Milijana

You might be able to select the singing and pump up the volume on it only - beware distortion by over amplification.

Bob/VA ... or you could just put the original on a CD player let it play to the point where the loud sounds stop - press pause - press play again when you want the song to be heard and stop when it's over.

No tech ability required, no knowledge of editing software required

caskeyteched 2 solutions: 1-Edit it using a freeware program called audacity. Edit it and export it as a .wav file.

2-Bring it into windows moviemaker (REALLY EASY) Edit it, export it , and burn a cd when you are finished. Trust me it’s Easier than you think.
