Would anyone be interested in taking an online training course designed to help teachers develop positive classroom management systems? This course would take place over a six week period and would provide weekly focused videos, resources, and a weekly teleconference to troubleshoot classroom management issues.
I'm developing this course now, and I'd love to find out if there is a demand for such a program.

Anyone know of any good online Master's degree programs? I am a Ohio teacher and was wondering if it matters if the online degree program is better if it is from an Ohio University or if it doesn't matter. I see Ohio Dominican has a program. Is there any others anyone knows of. Any advice? Thanks
Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for current teachers in CT state re: the following:

I am a classroom teacher in a middle school and am thinking of getting a degree in literacy to become a reading teacher.
I'd like to hear from anyone who has made this transition. 1) What are the major differences? 2) Pros and cons? 3) Are you glad you made the change or not, and why? 4) What kind of paperwork are you required to complete? 5) How is a typical day structured? 6) To what extent are you involved in parent conferences? 7) How closely do you work with classroom teachers? Anything else you want to comment on would be helpful.
What appeals to me most is being able to work with a smaller group of kids and helping kids develop reading skills, as it really is the basis for success in all subjects.
Wild Studies is offering a week-long eco-education adventure for educators and their adult friends (18 years or older) on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas May 29-June 4. No previous outdoor skills are necessary. Just bring a positive attitude and we will teach you the rest. The program is tailored to the group's interest and skill levels, this is not a cookie cutter experience.
