Teaching Jobs on Teachers.Net

Any advice would be greatly appreciated:

I'm currently working in a corporate company planning/creating/delivering training for clients in regards to new technology/computers, etc. After 3 years of working there and being really bored and unfulfilled with the corporate nonsense, I'm thinking about going back to school to get my Master's degree in the Science of Instruction along with my teaching certificate, so I can get into the education field to teach at the elementary level. I already have degrees in Psychology and Marketing and have passed the first two Praxis tests. Just was wondering if it was worth going for my Master's right away or if that makes me less desirable to school districts because they think they would have to pay me more? I've been thinking long and hard about my decision and would really appreciate any advice/feedback. Thanks!
Jarod HM My advice is to consider where you want to teach. If you are want to teach in suburban school district where they is a lot of competition for jobs, you would be in somewhat of a disadvantage with a Master in early ed.
