I currently am certified in Vocational Rehabilitaton with a cerification in Special Education- Cognitive Disabilies (# 810). I completed my masters program through UW-LaCrosse and received a Masters of Education - Professional Development throught the learning community model. I am wanting to become cross-categorically certified in special education. Do I need to take the Praxis II test for Middle School Content Area to become highly qualified? Also, can I get cross-categorically certified with undergrad credits? Does anyone know a good school with an undergrad program to become cross-categorically certified? Thanks for your help :)
