I just want to announce to the teaching world that I will not coddle a jackass, so said jackass in my class is going to fail my class and will not graduate.

I am happy and at peace.

Phillip So how will the student and family take this? Is your administration a bunch of wusses who will make you pass the kid anyway?

mrsd I have one of those. Well, more than one, actually. However, he's the only one who is not even attempting to pass. He will be in alternate school next year as a repeating 8th grader. Administration is well aware of it, and have begun the process of getting him enrolled next year in the alternate school, where he will probably languish until he drop...See More
