What do you do with students that can't place out of ESL with the WIDA test? I have a student from China who has been in the US since 2nd grade. He is now in 10th grade. This is the first year that I have had him in my district. Thanks for your input.
GA ESOL Teacher He can't test out because he has not reached proficiency levels. Are you saying the student has been in the ESOL program since 2nd grade? Lori This a student who may need a screening for a learning disability which may be masking itself as a second language issue. I know it may be hard to tell the difference so a special ed. diagnostician may help!
