Hello,

I have a BA in elementary education and have taught for 14 yrs.

I am interested in teaching English to adults. I am seeking some advise as to where to start....DO I need an MA ?
Deniz Ciao Cinzia? Are you teaching English then? What was your major at college? If it was english the only thing you need is the CELTA.If your major was not english then you need to start from the beginning which means taking college again for EFL/ESL. Hope it helps Deniz

Ian Actually even though you have a degree in elem. ed. most employers will look at that favorably, even if you want to teach adults. An MA is not necessary if you want to teach abroad.
