I am sure that some of you remember Mizlettes aka Sprinkle from the earlier days on Tnet. She posted on the main board "My husband cried too" that you will want to read. Keep her in your thoughts as she and her family face this together.

All three of our grandchildren were going to be at the 6pm ...See MoreWe had a lovely day too. I normally play and sing at the 8:30 Christmas Eve Mass, but this year the slots filled up with musos and after discussion with the others I decided I would sit in the pews and take on other ministry roles. After all, I can always sing from wherever I am.
All three of our grandchildren were going to be at the 6pm Mass, so we went there too. They are all under 2yo, so it was a lovely exercise to keep them both corralled and happy. Such a wonderful delight! When hubby and I left our seats to go onto the sanctuary to distribute Communion, apparently the eldest just kept calling "Grandma" and wanting to follow us. (He was only in the third row and I couldn't hear him, so he wasn't too loud. ;-) Hearing him say "bye bye sheep, bye bye water, bye bye Baby Jesus" at the end of Mass was just amazing!
Christmas morning we gathered with our family unit for breakfast. We skyped our son and daughter-in-law in the US and swapped presents. Lunch was with husband's family and then, for the first time in 35 years, we didn't go to my huge family for a huge dinner. It would have been a 5 hour round trip and the little ones wouldn't have coped. It was so lovely to just finish the day in a gentle manner. We had gathered a few weeks before and went down to see Mum yesterday, but just not on the day itself.
Two Christmases ago we had no grandchildren, now we've got three and by next it'll be four. LOVE Christmas with little ones!!
Wishing everyone in the GA group a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa and Reverent Ramadan. I hope each of you are doing well....... Blessings sent.......
FlackaHappy Holidays (whatever they may be) to all the Golden Apples and their families.

The board has been down almost 2 weeks, wonder what the problem is?? This is like the 3rd time there have been problems with it yet all the other boards are ok. Bob should merge it with this board and have a Golden Apples/Retired board. How does that sound?
Bluetteevery time I see a photo of cardinals, I remember her great love for them ...earrings, sweatshirts etc
