Hello to those who have been posting for years. I am guilty of not being active here in the last year or so. Retirement is busier than teaching. Also, parents returned to our area from their retirement area as Mom needed skilled nursing and Dad needed the help of his children. We were thrilled that Dad was able to live with us. Then daughter and her hubby and 3 kids moved back to town. They ended up divorced and daughter is single parenting 3 girls, two with special needs. My time filled quickly. I do miss the times here when we all knew so many others and had special places on the porch for visiting.

I'll try to check in much more often
