We are fortunate in our school district that YMCA has partnered with us to offer FREE aerobic classes at one of our elementary schools. The classes vary and are offered two times a week. It's an excellent way to stay in shape AND catch up with colleagues from different schools. In addition, our cafeteria manager offers weekly email tips on healthy eating...yes, that sounds a bit of a contradiction given that school cafeterias are notorious for serving high fat foods, but she is committed to ensuring that everyone is given better food choices when eating lunch. I am sure that if you asked your local YMCA they could be persuaded to offer classes for your staff as well!
