I am a relatively new teacher at a school in the Greater Cincinnati area. I am interested in how the "flipped" or inverted classroom method is being used in secondary education.

I have used the method a few times this year in my social studies classes, but am looking to incorporate the tool with greater frequency in coming years.

I am working on a research project that deals with this topic and would very much like your input! I invite you to complete a short online survey that deals with this subject.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Sara That's interesting because the way it was presented to us was that our classrooms would become discussion-based. I just don't get it. Today someone came to school trying to sell us a testing program that would go well with the flipped classroom ....we would be able to see students' answers while they actually wrote them onto their tests and address...See More

rw From an English teacher perspective I don't get it. Maybe the concept makes sense if you're in a field that has been traditionally lecture, but shouldn't everyone be beyond lecturing and into class-discussion and activity anyway?
