I taught for two years and now substitute teach, often
getting my assignments the morning of. Today, as I
explained to a 5th grade class why we were going to skip
the science lesson that I was truly not prepared for (and
at a college level), a student interjected:
But, Mrs. S., aren't you supposed to know this stuff?
ha, yeah, I said, if you would give me a half hour how to
explain it. ;)
