Just Go Across the Grass

This happened this week. A kindergartener was in my art room. He came waddling up to me and said "Potty, potty, potty"! I do not have a bathroom in my classroom. It is in the next building. There is a patch of grass between my door and the next building with the bathroom. I took the student outside my door and pointed to the little boy's bathroom sign. "Do you see that little boy's bathroom sign?" He nodded YES. I said "OK, just go there across the grass." I had another student watch him to make sure he got there OK. A moment later, the watcher student said "HE IS GOING ALL OVER THE GRASS!" LOL LOL
