I have only 3 rules. All infractions can be put under one if not all three. 1) Show Respect 2) Make a decision and 3) Try to solve your own problem. My K students know what I mean if I look at them and say Rule 2 or Rule 1.

Also, you may want to use Social Stories to teach appropriate classroom behavior. I would start out with "Tucker Turtle Takes Time to Tuck and Think."
