Re: HELP.. Who uses Journeys for Reading?
    Anne

We are using Houghton Mifflin Language and Literacy and
    Wilson's Fundations for phonics.

We use the sequence in Fundations (modified a bit so that we
can teach some Handwriting Without Tears strategies). We
also do Words Their Way sorting.

The Houghton Mifflin is for all class literacy circles and small
group guided reading. We also like some of the writing
    extensions.

I think that we have to realize that no program does
everything well. It is up to the teachers to coordinate the
overall program. And that will differ a bit from class to class
because some classes need more of one element than
    another.

Enjoy these last days of summer!
