He's stopped turning the paper upside down and is starting to
hold the books upright. Still working on upside down scissors
(common), but the up-down-side-to-side is still a problem.
The mom came in to help in class and seemed to be in shock
that almost all of the other kids knew their letters and
numbers, and hers didn't. Said she couldn't afford preschool,
but I commented that about half of them hadn't gone either,
they'd just learned by watching Sesame Street, having books
read to them, etc.
So it may just be a lack of experience in the home. Thanks
