I'm always looking for new ideas to keep literacy centers fun, meaningful, and easy to manage for kindergarten students.

What activities have worked best in your classroom?

Some ideas I've been trying include:

Alphabet matching games

Letter tracing and handwriting practice

Sight word activities

Beginning sound sorting

Read-and-color worksheets

Picture and word matching

Simple phonics games

Independent reading with picture books

I'm also curious about how you organize your centers. Do students rotate every 10-15 minutes? Do you assign groups, or let them choose activities?

I'd love to hear your favorite literacy center ideas, classroom management tips, and any free resources you recommend. Thanks for sharing your experience!
