Anyone shelve biographies as 92 in with the non-fiction books? My volunteer shelved some before the 920's (I didn't catch that) but it seemed they were being checked out where before they hadn't been when separated. Pros/Cons please. Thanks Cindy

Lisse24 That's one of the first things I did when I took over my current library. Several teachers have "people" based projects and at the time there was no card catalog (computerized or other) and so it was the easiest way to direct them to the books they needed.

I bought those long flexible plastic shelf markers and labelled them with A, B, C etc to make it easier for kids to find the last name of the person they are searching for.
