I've been through a lot of training on how to use picture books in the classroom. Because of a limited amount of time, I link reading and writing together when I select a book. So while I can teach a 6+1 Trait of writing, or composition, I can also teach story elements like plot, cause & effect, etc. I don't read the whole book, but just enough...See More
