I just wanted to put over my own POV that a combined class
can work in its assigned year group with the teacher never
truly engaging in multiage group concepts. In a multiage
group environment students are given many more
opportunities to peer tutor, to be apprentices and masters
and to loop with the same teacher which provides a focus
on the learning rather than the structure of the classroom.
