I recently found out I will be teaching a 4/5 combo class for the 2010-2011 school year. Luckily, I've taught both 4th and 5th grade, but not at the same time.

I was wondering what the pros and cons are.

Also, how do you cover two separate curriculums at the same time? I'm mostly concerned about social studies, science, and math.

Unfortunately, I won't have an EA or teacher to help me.

Thank you!
