Hi, Amber. I haven't used his methods because I teach older students, but I have had a workshop that he led. I thought it was phenomenal and I agree with his educational philosophy 100%. I did get two of his books and also a movement dvd, and have incorporated them when I can. I don't think you will go wrong with his materials.

Fierabend has a book called "First Steps in Music" That tells you exactly what to do in each class. I strongly suggest also getting the music CDs that go with it, "Old Joe Clark, Had little Rooster, and one more????
