    Thanks Bob!
Chalky Double post. Don't have a clue why that happened.

Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill (Mo.) used a personal foundation to pay for a dinner she attended at Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak's Washington, D.C., residence. The senator had failed to disclose her role in the foundation until earlier this month.

McCaskill came under fire this March after she told the Washington Post she never had ...See More

Bob R/CA US official: Russia 'hacked' 21 US states in election

Where is our president? Oh that's right, campaigning for 2020.
    Jun 29, 2017
EasTexSteve At the time, our president (Obama) was likely practicing his golf swing.

Have a look. Their Twitter Audit score is 52 percent.

    https://www.twitteraudit.com/CNN
Chalky I'm not sure why you think the number of Twitter followers indicates anything significant. Twitter has been invaded with many bots, especially Russian sponsored ones, that can skew audit results.

Many Twitter users are like me -- zero followers -- zero tweets. They/I would show up as fake accounts.

    I follow over 900 people, mostly...See More

    :::quote:::

A Time magazine with Trump on the cover hangs in his golf clubs. It's fake.

The framed copy of Time magazine was hung up in at least five of President Trump's clubs, from South Florida to Scotland. Filling the entire cover was a photo of Donald Trump.

"Donald Trump: The 'Apprentice' is a television smash!" the...See More

    Chalky Oh yeah....I remember now.

Bill Clinton constantly bragged about how many times he had appeared on the hundred dollar bill.

He framed pictures of those "fake" bills.

And displayed them prominently so others might be impressed by all the times he had been on the front of the hundred dollar bill.

    Thanks for the re...See More

Lulu Yeah, one of my kids made one of these once at a Bat Mitzvah. Nice to see Trump has the gravitas of a 13 year old girl.

Bob R/CA Comport yourself, if you act like a troll you'll be disinvited. You shouldn't have to have that explained to you.

Tim Finnegan So the answer, Chalky, at least from you, is that you also cannot find the numbers on Obama. The only conclusion that I can make is that it's not the lying that bothers you (or any on the left). If it was, you would also be calling out those on the left for committing the same offense. So far, I have only been able to find 36 times that Obama claim...See More

The BBC's consumer-affairs "Watchdog" program found that samples of iced drinks from Starbucks and two other UK chains — Costa Coffee and Caffe Nero — contained "varying levels of the [fecal] bacteria."

Kathleen Speaking of fecal matter, there's an overabundance of it coming from this White House. Did you see the looooong list of *Trump's lies (so far)? Wow! No wonder the White House doesn't want video and live audio of the steady stream of diarrhea coming from the mouths of his spokespeople during press briefings; it makes it that much more graphic - and ...See More

EasTexSteve Yes, I saw where the looney liberal fake news media threw a temper tantrum because they couldn't get their face time, because they aren't there to report the news, they think they are the news.

I also saw where Trump has strategically changed his mind on several issues as situational dynamics change. Too bad Clinton beat him to the punch b...See More

    File under, 'only in Washington.'

While Democrats are howling that the Senate's health care bill would gut Medicaid, a closer look at the numbers shows the legislation actually would increase spending to the safety-net program—by tens of billions of dollars.

According to the latest 'score' from the Congressional Budget Office, ...See More
Tim Finnegan Actually Steve, in Washington, that can be considered a cut. Remember, Trump ended all funding to Meals on Wheels ... that was the story the media and the Democrats pushed. Even though he cut only a small percentage.

In Washington, increases in spending are often considered cuts.

T.E.C. - Iowa First, you have to admit that Republicans do not like Medicaid - as seen by their refusal to do the expansion. Then you had to admit, they would get rid of it - if they could. The question is how?

The linked article in the OP says "the CBO predicts Medicaid spending in 2026 would be a whopping $624 billion." This 2026 is part of the strate...See More

Not all is rosy in Seattle as the city gradually pushes to raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour, according to a new study that suggests hiring and the number of hours worked among lower-wage employees took a hit last year as minimum pay rose.

The National Bureau of Economic Research unveiled a working paper on Monday that found the numbe...See More
T.E.C. - Iowa This is an interesting study, and does need to be noted as such! However, there are some issues that need to be added to the mix.

    1. "The idea that employers forced to pay higher wages to unskilled workers would eliminate jobs to keep their payroll from going over budget seems logical enough. But over the years, most studies of minimum wag...See More
