Obama's disappearing Legacy

by Trump is the eraser

It will be nice to see Obama's Legacy fade away and disappear. I'm sure he's a nice guy except for the way he screwed over America's friends and allies but that's how the cookie crumbles. President Trump's executive actions will have a powerful effect on restoring quality of government in these United States of America.

Bob asked you a direct question. He didn't imply your thoughts.

Martial Law The exercise of government and control by military authorities over the civilian population of a designated territory. Martial law is an extreme and rare measure used to control society during war or periods of civil unrest or chaos. According to the Supreme Court, the term martial law carries no precise meaning (Duncan v. Kahanamoku, 327 U.S. 304, 66 S. Ct. 606, 90 L. Ed. 688 [1946]). However, most declarations of martial law have some common features. Generally, the institution of martial law contemplates some use of military force. To a varying extent, depending on the martial law order, government military personnel have the authority to make and enforce civil and criminal laws. Certain civil liberties may be suspended, such as the right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures, freedom of association, and freedom of movement. And the writ of Habeas Corpus may be suspended (this writ allows persons who are unlawfully imprisoned to gain freedom through a court proceeding).

Seriously, it didn't take long at all to look this up. There are many articles online. I selected the first one that discussed martial law from a legal perspective to avoid partisan leanings.

Trump didn't give a public statement detailing an offer to extend the FBI. Chicago's mayor last week just gave a lengthy statement to the press about the DOJ report. There are several recommendations and mandates for Chicago PD to follow. He sent out one of his glib tweets. He gave no recommendations. I am going to trust to the best that I can understand, that Trump uses his (best) words to communicate. I am not giving in to what's in his heart over what I see him tweet or what he says. I am not going to cave to alternative facts.
