About the List of Banned Countries!

To summarize what I am hearing from the foreign policy people I follow, the countries in Pres. Trump's ban are allies of Iran with the exception of Libya, Sudan, and Somalia.

Notably missing from the list is Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain. The reason these countries should be on the list is they are the greatest supporters of Wahabism, which is described "as an Islamic 'reform movement' to restore "pure monotheistic worship' (tawhid) by devotees, and as a 'deviant sectarian movement', 'vile sect' and a distortion of Islam by its opponents."

In the past, American policy in the Middle East has been to support the triad of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar - thus our support of terrorists in the Syrian War. Support for the triad seems to be continuing under Pres. Trump. However, the demonization of Russia is being set aside for a focus on Iran.

It seems some have figured out that a war with Russia would be insane, and a war would Iran with Russia...See More
