As Pres. Trump denies climate change, new research says the oceans are warming 13&37; faster than previously thought. If you think the air temperature has increased - making mild winters - remember 90&37; of the heat trapped by the earth goes into the oceans. And important, this is not just the ocean surface

The graph is from the study and shows that ocean warming is greatest at the surface, but the entire ocean is warming. Notice the various depths. This will increase sea level rise, cause greater rainfall when it rains, make for stronger hurricanes, and more. However, this will impact the production of food from the oceans and 3 billion people use the oceans as a primary food source.

IMHO, if both sea level rise and a decline in ocean productivity occur together, you will see hundreds of millions of climate change refugees knocking at your door. Yet, we are preparing for nothing!
