On Friday Tapper reported on claims that the White House had told MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski to apologize for his negative coverage or suffer a National Enquirer 'expose' on their lives.
Unfortunately, the National Enquirer cover that was picked to illustrate the magazine's often salacious content was completely fake

Steve, the cover displayed on the screen had nothing to do with the topic. Tapper was reporting on Trump's attempt to blackmail members of the media, (It didn't matter that, when announcing that Sarah Palin was considering a run for president, Fox "News" posted a graphic of Palin that was actually a picture of Tina Fey. http://www.nationalenquireru...See More
