Chalky @Tim I should have been more specific in my comment about being convicted of a crime before pardoning. I was referencing the report that Trump had questioned the possibility of pardoning himself.

From what I've read, if he's impeached he's open to being prosecuted. The question is can he pardon himself before being indicted/convicted.

Tim Finnegan If he is impeached, as democrats like Maxine Waters really hope will happen (much worse than hoping for a one term president), I am not sure what the current crimes he would be charged with are. However, many democrats have already made the assumption that he is guilty and should be locked up. Seems they don't believe in a fair trial.
