I ran into this today while listening to economist David Cay Johnston. Plutarch was a Greek who lived from AD 46 to AD 120. When a philosopher from this far back in history tells us a truth that many today do not know, all that can be said is, "Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."

This also suggests, if we cannot solve the problem of inequality, this country will no longer be what it is today! Or maybe I should say - as David Cay Johnston says - the history of America will start with "America was!"
