DAP textbook question

What is the difference between Gestwicki's DAP textbook and Copple's DAP textbook? I am not in college looking for the right book for the class; I want the right book for me. I'm in no huge hurry; nothing will make me pay Amazon's crazy current university textbook prices! Thanks.

OP Haha, Maureen! No, that isn't what I meant, but who knows...in ten years, that may be the case! I got a response from a very nice person at NAEYC. The Copple book is the latest version of the "DAP Bible" as many of us know it. The Gestwicki book may be very well written, but NAEYC won't vouch for it.
