Hi, my name is Samantha and I am a step mother to a little boy named Caleb. We can't afford to send him to preschool but are concerned we are going to have to if we can't make at home progress with him. He is four. Example: no matter how many times I count to ten, he scrambles the numbers when he repeats them back at me. We've tried games and activities for weeks and still no progress. This happens with shapes as well - I'll show him an oval but two minutes later he can't remember what it is called. Any suggestions?!

Work in short increments and give lots of praise. If he his scrambling 1-10, b...See More
