We have the opportuntiy to get LCD projectors for our classroooms. I would like to know if anyone is using them DAILY in their primary classrooms and how you use it. I don't want to get one if it is just something to use occasionally.

Nora in Texas Any brand is ok. i learned how to even clean the filter on my projector and will climb a ladder to clean it as i cannot teach without it. i also have a document camera and my kids are focused and learn much faster than by using the regular text. Ed LCD projectors are something you can use all the time. However, a lot of teachers don't know that you can also hook up a laptop to a TV for a lot less money (about $20 vs. $400-$1000) and there's no replacement bulb cost ($200-$300).

Tallytchr I use my projector constantly all day long. It's rarely off except during reading groups. Anytime I'm working whole group, it's on, but I have a doc camera and a SMARTboard too.

I'm not so sure how much I would use it if I only used it for projecting websites from the computer.
