Does anyone have any ideas on how to make a classroom more cozy and inviting? I teach fourth grade at an upper elementary school, but our school feels more like a middle school than an elementary one. Next year I'd like to divide my room into "areas" like I hear the primary grades do. Any thoughts on "areas" or creating a comfortable, inviting space would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have a new rug that's a circle, in a rich green color. That's the center of everything and the fact that it doesn't have rigid lines (right angles) softens things. I also ad...See More
