Hi I am a college student and I need to interview a teacher about teaching reading. I am really curious as to what different teachers do, so I decided to post here to see all the different responses that I can get. Thank you for helping a future teacher.

1. What type of informal assessments do you use to monitor students and plan for instruction? What daily or weekly assessment do you utilize in the classroom? 2. What type of formal assessments or standardized tests do you use? Are these school-wide or state-wide assessments? 3. How are these assessments used to guide instruction?
