I was thinking it should be picked in September or October? is that right?

Has anybody cooked yucca fruit?

In some places it appears it has been ready in June...so..not too sure, but there are some great recipes on this site above.

OP--gyros with hummus sounds excellent AM. nm I messed up and didn't pick them in time. I thought they would get bigger so I was waiting. I waited too long and the seeds got big and black and the fruits were dried out. Oh, well. Next time. I'll try them in June in two years.
