Responsibilities include Grade 1-3 general music, and 4-6 performing music.
For performing music, you would become part of a team of 4 people who teach beginning band, as in clarinet, flute, trumpet, etc, guitar, violin or strings, and chorus. You would have one home school site, plus travel to three other schools.
Position includes paid travel time (as in on the clock), two hours per week of planning time, mileage reimbursement.
You must be credentialed in Music in California, or able to complete the requirements for getting your out of state credential cleared for teaching in California. The position is in Santa Rosa, CA, which is about an hour north of San Francisco.
