I am the project coordinator for the NEH summer program at Niagara University in Niagara Falls, New York. The NEH has been given a grant for a summer program for school teachers. Upon completion of this program a $1200.00 stipend is yours to help with travel expenses. March 1, 2011 is the deadline to apply for this program. The dates of the program are July 11-15 or 18-22 2011. You will be studying about the region, the clash between British, French and Native peoples at Old Fort Niagara. At the end of the week long program you will have lesson plans to take back to the classroom.
