Teacher to Offer Documentary About Darfur for 99¢

The images are heartbreaking: soldiers shooting children, bombs falling on helpless villagers, houses burning. These images were drawn by children in some of the most violent places on the planet and brought back by Dr. Jerry Ehrlich while on missions with Doctors Without Borders. Ehrlich and his drawings are featured in the award-winning documentary, Crayons and Paper, directed by Hersey High School teacher Bruce David Janu.

After finishing up a three-year run on the Documentary Channel, Janu is now offering up the film for digital download for as little as 99 cents. Using the online distribution service Distrify, Janu has made the film available for various prices----from .99 to $4.99.

“It’s the same film at all price levels,” says Janu. “I just want to give people the opportunity to pay what they want.”

Janu made the film to help raise awareness about human rights issues in the world...See More
