The Declaration Resources Project at Harvard University is currently developing an educational video game about the Declaration of Independence, set in the years 1772- 1776 and called "Portrait of a Tyrant". This point-and- click adventure game is centered on the grievances and rights articulated in the Declaration of Independence, and will support instruction on the Declaration in not just Social Studies, but also English/Language Arts, Civics, and US History contexts. If you teach grades 6-12 and are interested in educational technology, gaming, or curricular development, we invite you to join our Teacher Advisory Board. To receive an application, or if you have any questions, please email us at declaration@fas.harvard.edu. Spread the word! Applications are due September 15th.

With thanks, Emily Sneff Research Manager, Declaration Resources Project declaration.fas.harvard.edu
