La crespaI'm not sure which state you're in but I'm pretty sure you won't be able to complete a whole teaching program online (especially language classes) plus, you'll have to student teach for 12-18 weeks with a teacher in a classroom.
We just got this book and I would like to know how you guys introduce the vocabulary. We had an old book "Ven Conmigo" and it broke it into 3 pasos. Ayuda por favor. The cuaderno de practica does not have enough activities. What do you guys do? Thanks
Hello! I'm Spanish and this year I'm teaching English in a secondary school in Spain. I'm looking for penfriends for my students. Is there any teacher interested in doing a language exchange with his students?
I have native and non-natives in the same class. I would like to implement something other than random partners for communicative exercises and collaborative work.
Any suggestions of things that have been successful for you?
I'm interested in both series. I'm looking for more communication versus grammar. Looking for high Comprehensive Input and something we could use with martinabex (which is what our MS uses). In addition looking to see how Senderos integrates the AP themes too throughout ALL levels. Thoughts for either would great!
For those of you considering textbooks, you might want to take a look at Entreculturas by Wayside Publishing. It is fully aligned to the ACTFL standards and each lesson is built around CAN DO statements and Essential Questions. Grammar is featured in a new and exciting way. The video CI is superior. This series is very rich in comparing cultures.
Daniel HansonPersonally, I was not impressed with I glimpsed through it last year online (when I was looking at various publishers for native speaker high school Spanish textbooks). It seemed too wordy and not as good as Senderos/Descubre.
