Due to budget cuts our district is focused more on providing training using our district coaches... which is great... but I REALLY miss hearing the different perspectives from outside conferences. Anyone else feel this way?

teachmo A cheaper way to get this outside perspective is to have one staff person attend the PD event rather than a group and then that person could come back and share what they learned about with anyone else interested.

DeAnn Our district used to have several in house trainers that gave excellent staff development. They would also approve outside conferences if they were in line with our district curriculum and money was available.
